Headstrong Steel Studio Pty Ltd manufactures bespoke sheet metal for interior and small scale exterior design features in a variety of weathered Steel Finishes. An excellent option for kitchens, reception desks, worktops, counter, sinks, sink drainers, point of sale display counters, kitchen extraction hoods, doors and wall features.
Some of the steel sheet metals we use are naturally aged, acidified, hammered, mirrored or corten based steel. When we clad reception desks for example we would work with a customers carpenter/joiner to help design the substructure to achieve the best effect from the metal cladding if necessary.For many of the pieces we produce we work with interior designers from concept drawings to completion to achieve their vision.
Interior Face Screwed and Floating Wall Panels use 16g up to 1/4″ steel and can be finished in many acid patina colors offered by Headstrong Steel Studio. These panels are available in a custom Rusted Hot Rolled Steel finishes, floating on the wall with a space between and behind the panels. Screws can be recessed or on top of the panel as a button head screw. Corners can be formed, edged and laser cut to custom sizes and shapes.

HOT ROLLED STEEL
Hot Rolled Steel is distinguished by its inherent blue mill scale. This mill scale is what makes Hot Rolled Steel unique and gives it its “Industrial” look. We add an acid patina to our Hot Rolled to enhance these qualities.
COLD ROLLED STEEL
Cold Rolled Steel does not have blue mill scale. This is a clean steel that allows us to use a variety of acid patinas to create an array of colors and patterns.
STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless Steel has low carbon content and is extremely rust resistant. This steel can be patina’d different shades of light to dark charcoal color.
